Virtual EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Nervous System-focused care for adults in Texas

Welcome to Regulated Resilience Therapy; an embodied approach to healing.

Are you new to therapy, and you’re not sure where to start? You’ve taken the first step… and we can figure out the rest together.

Or maybe you’ve been in therapy for a while? It’s possible you already understand why you feel the way you do. You’ve talked about it, learned the coping skills, changed your habits, and done your best to “do the work” — but your mind and body still seem to be reacting as if something isn’t safe. Wherever you find yourself, we can work together to find a path to healing and regulation.

A different way of working with what keeps you stuck

Insight can be incredibly valuable—but sometimes understanding why you feel the way you do doesn’t change how your nervous-system responds.

My approach goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Together, we’ll get curious about what your system has learned to perceive as threatening and what it needs to begin responding differently.

Depending on your needs, our work may include talking and reflection, processing past experiences, noticing what’s happening in the body, working with emotions, and helping your system update old patterns that no longer fit your present.

At Regulated Resilience Therapy, we’ll take an embodied approach, working with the mind, heart, and body to address patterns that keep you stuck in anxiety, chronic stress, trauma responses, persistent physical symptoms, and survival mode.

There isn’t one right way to heal. Therapy is individualized to you, and the approaches we’ll use are chosen based on what will best support the work we’re doing together.

Healing begins when we stop fighting what is and make space for what’s here.

Does any of this feel familiar?

  • You’ve tried therapy, learned the coping skills, and gained insight—but still feel stuck.

  • Your body seems to stay on high alert, even when you know logically that you’re safe.

  • You experience chronic pain, fatigue, or other persistent physical symptoms that don’t seem to have a clear explanation.

  • You’re a high achiever, perfectionist, caretaker, or people-pleaser who has gotten very good at pushing through.

  • You struggle to truly rest, relax, or let your guard down.

  • You’re ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms and create more lasting change.

Make space. Stay curious. Trust what unfolds.

You don’t need to arrive already knowing how to regulate your nervous system. That’s part of the work.

When the nervous system has been stuck in a state of fight or flight (survival mode) for too long, it begins to perceive what might be a small inconvenience as a threat. It’s like a faulty smoke alarm that begins to sound when it simply senses steam from the shower.

Together, we’ll get curious about what your brain and body have learned to perceive as threatening, understand the patterns that keep your nervous system on high alert, and gradually help it learn more adaptive ways of responding.

The goal isn’t to be calm all the time. It’s to build a nervous system that can respond to life—and find its way back.

“In quietness and trust is your strength.” -Isaiah 30:15
